Consumer Tip of The Month.
TELEPHONE BILL ALERT
ATTENTION CONSUMERS. READ YOUR TELEPHONE BILL VERY CAREFULLY. YOU COULD BE
OVERCHARGED.
For example. I recently studied my long distance bill
portion from AT &T. Guess what? That company overcharged me $14.00.
They kept charging for directory assistance calls out of state when in
fact I did not make those calls. They charge $1.40 for a
directory assistance call. I think that is outrageous. When I do need a
phone number I go on the internet and look up any who. If the number is
listed I get it for nothing.
Back to AT +T. I insisted they over charged me in spite of their opposition to my claim. Eventually, I was proved right on Feb.24,l999 at 630pm by a supervisor named Jan.
I advise all consumers to look at their bills carefully for errors. The
money you save may be your own.
That's all for this month,
